Important information for your stay on the Hill
- This is wild camping on an open ridge at around 600 feet.
- Bring everything you need — drinking water, lights, food, shelter.
- The weather up here can change, and it can be colder, wetter and windier than down in the village or on the coast.
- Before you set off, check the forecast for Bleadon & The Mendip Hills, not just Weston-super-Mare — conditions on the hill can vary.
- Bring warm layers and waterproofs, whatever the season.
- Your tent needs to be able to handle wind — a sturdy shelter, properly pegged out, is a must.
- Please pack for self-sufficient camping. Enjoy!
